More than places to stay, our properties are portals into the soul of a region, crafted with intention, cultural reverence and architectural distinctiveness.
Each destination is rooted in the stories, traditions and natural beauty of its setting, offering travelers immersive experiences that go beyond luxury.

Every Tribu property is inspired by the cosmologies and practices of original cultures. Whether drawing on the Taíno of the Caribbean, the Etruscans of Tuscany, or the Bedouins of the desert, we build in partnership with local artisans and elders to ensure each space is both authentic and regenerative.

Taína sits in a lush, untouched region of the Dominican Republic steeped in indigenous history and natural wonder. It is a celebration of the Taíno spirit, reimagined through architecture, gastronomy and ritual. Nestled between ocean and mountains, the property merges ancestral design principles with modern comfort, creating a space where guests reconnect with the land and with themselves.

Taína is more than a retreat. Guests are welcomed into a living experience that includes ancestral healing practices, culinary journeys inspired by pre-colonial flavors, and immersive encounters with local communities. From sound rituals and river bathing to stargazing and native botany, every detail is curated for cultural reverence and personal renewal.
Developed under strict environmental stewardship.
Taína is being built with deep respect for the surrounding ecosystem. Upon completion it will be certified by the Audubon Society, reflecting our commitment to sustainability, biodiversity and responsible tourism.
Taína is just the beginning.
Tribu will expand across the globe, each location reflecting the unique identity of its host culture. From desert canyons to ancient forests, volcanic coasts to Himalayan foothills, every Tribu property will be a living story: thoughtfully designed, locally grounded, globally connected.
